Balaji Speciality Chemicals new unit in Maharashtra

The work on the Balaji Speciality Chemicals new unit in Maharashtra is currently under progress. The project worth Rs. 96.2 crore will have a capacity of 45,330 tpa. It is being built over 7,842 sq mtr of land in MIDC Chincholi, Solapur district, the unit will have capacity to produce Ethylenediamine (37,350 tpa), Piperzine (4,050 tpa), and Diethylenetriamine (3,150 tpa).

In 2017, the company received environmental clearance (EC) and began work on the unit. The latest update is that the civil construction work has been completed and installation of machinery is nearing completion. The promoter is optimistic to commence commercial production by January 2019.
